In his career as an attorney, Landon Miller has worked as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, giving him a unique and valuable perspective on criminal cases.

Before joining Faber Law Firm, Landon worked as a prosecutor, primarily handling DWI and Missouri Highway Patrol cases. Between prosecuting more than 50 DWI trials and his time working for Faber Law Firm as a defense attorney, Landon has garnered a thorough understanding of the intricacies of DWI charges and the hardships clients may face during the legal process.

Marine discipline and a soldier’s work ethic

Prior to being an attorney, Landon served in the United States Marine Corps, which has helped him develop and apply an aggressive and comprehensive approach to all of his cases.

During his time in the Corps, Landon learned that communication is key to a successful operation and he applies this principle in his practice by prioritizing communication with his clients. In preparing a case, Landon makes sure to conduct a thorough investigation to discover all possible defenses, witnesses, and evidence for the case, thus giving him the proper “situational awareness” to create the best plan of attack for each individual client.

Landon has devoted his studies and his career to excellence in advocacy. Prior to attending law school, Landon competed on Columbia College’s mock trial team, during which time he won numerous “Outstanding Attorney” awards. While enrolled in the University of Missouri School of Law, he was selected to compete on the school’s national trial teams, advancing to the finals twice and earning the R. David Excellence in Trial Advocacy Award all three years he attended. Landon was also accepted into the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society during his time as a law student. After graduating law school, Landon accepted a position as an instructor for the school’s national trial teams.

Landon Miller has defended numerous jury trials to acquittal—both misdemeanors and felonies. This has led to Landon developing a reputation as a strong, capable defense attorney and has earned him therespect of his peers and clients both in and outside of the court room.
