Significance & The Law
Ben Faber is dedicated to protecting and restoring your gun rights, as well as obtaining and protecting your right to carry concealed firearms. We strongly believe in the individual right to keep and bare arms as described in the 2nd Amendment and will fight to ensure your rights are protected as best we can.
A criminal conviction may have an adverse effect on your ability to keep and carry firearms. If you are charged with a crime and concerned about this outcome, be sure to discuss this issue with your attorney. CCW Denial – While Missouri is a “shall issue” state, or the sheriff shall issue a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) endorsement upon application by a qualified individual, certain factors can lead to a denial of your application. See Missouri Statute 571.101. Some of these factors, like “(7) Has not engaged in a pattern of behavior, documented in public or closed records, that causes the sheriff to have a reasonable belief that the applicant presents a danger to himself or others;” and “(8) Is not adjudged mentally incompetent at the time of application …” present arguable issues. If you are applying for your CCW or just a renewal, and have been denied, we may be able to assist you in appealing this decision.
